Product Description

This rear expanding jacket has a simplified harness and lighter material than the Back Jac model and has been specifically designed for those who travel. Light Jac offers all the advantages in terms of freedom of movement, of great buoyancy and hydro-dynamism of rear extending models. To keep the volume of the sack to a minimum there is an elastic retainer which also aids quick and easy deflation. The buoyancy levels are very high: 12.2kg of thrust on size XS and about 20 kg on size M. Despite these characteristics, which are typical of professional equipment, the weight remains quite low (3.1 kg size M) and is ideal for carrying on flights. The range of accessories is of excellent quality: roll up pocket for stowing a spare mask or other objects on the right hand side, an elasticated, fully adjustable waistband, comfortable back cover, Lock Aid weight system, full range of D-rings and snap-locks for carrying accessories. Technical features - Material: 420 denier nylon - Lock Aid quick release weight container system - Roll up accessory pocket - Sack retainer system - Cressi traditional two-piece back panel with padded cover - 3 air release valves - 4 stainless steel rings for carrying accessories - 2 snap-lock rings - Weight size M: 3.1 kg Buoyancy: 12. 2 kg (XS), 12. 2 kg (S), 20.4 kg (M), 20.4 kg (L), 16.3 kg (XL) Buoyancys:

Scuba Gear Package – JoeDiver’s Economical Regulator, Octo, BC and Gauges

Scuba Gear Package - JoeDiver's Economical Regulator, Octo, BC and Gauges

JoeDiver’s Economical Regulator, Octo, BC and Gauges.

DFC DYNAMIC FLOW CONTROL Mares’ first stages feature the exclusive DFC (Dynamic Flow Control) system, which minimizes the intermediate pressure drop during the inhalation phase, thereby considerably improving regulator performance in terms of breathing effort and inhalation resistance. More parts mean higher possibilities for malfunction, so the regs are bare of flashy gizmos.

VAD The unique Mares patented V.A.D. (Vortex Assisted Design) system. This system is unique and allows smooth breathing at all depths and its operating principle is very simple. The air coming from the hose passes through the second stage valve and is conveyed directly to the mouthpiece through the by-pass tube. MESH GRID Coverplate design, which disperses the water flow around the 2nd stage diaphragm, reducing the likelihood of free-flow.

The calibrated holes allow a large amount of water to flow through while simultaneously reducing undesirable dynamic effects, even when swimming against a strong current.
